Overcoming Spawn Location Restrictions
When trying to enable custom spawns, you may encounter limitations in choosing spawn points. To address this, explore the “GameUserSettings.ini” file and modify the “PreventCustomSpawnLocations” setting to “False.” This grants flexibility in selecting custom spawn locations.
Configuring Server Settings
To successfully enable custom spawns, adjust your server’s settings. Use the “ARK Server Manager” or access the server configuration files directly. Modify the “CustomSpawnEntries” setting to include the desired spawn point coordinates, creature type, and any additional parameters.
Fixing Spawn Range Constraints
If creatures are not spawning within the desired range, check the “CustomSpawnRangeMultiplier” setting in the “Game.ini” file. Increasing this multiplier extends the spawn range, allowing creatures to appear further from designated spawn points and enhancing gameplay variety.
